GENEHEN FEEDING PROGRAM
GeneHen Global Care Foundation has extended its Feed a Child Campaign to Udi Local Government Area, focusing on tackling food insecurity among school children. The initiative is dedicated to delivering nutritious meals to enhance both the well-being and academic performance of students across eight schools in the locality. By addressing hunger and nutritional deficits, the campaign aims to create a positive impact on the students' educational experiences and overall health.
PROJECT DETAILS:
On the second day of the campaign, the foundation provided nutritious meals to students across eight schools within the Udi Local Government Area:
Central School Amokwe: 138 children
CPS Ibuzor Amokwe: 108 children
South West Amokwe: 233 children
National Primary School Amokwe: 203 children
Primary School Idedu Amokwe: 120 children
Union Primary School Orji Amokwe: 120 children
CPS Umudim Amokwe: 132 children
CPS Idedu Amokwe: 128 children
TOTAL BENEFICIARIES:
A total of 1,182 children benefited from the feeding project across these eight schools.
OBJECTIVES ACHIEVED:
The primary objective of the feeding project was to alleviate hunger among school children and improve their overall well-being. By providing nutritious meals, the project aimed to enhance the physical health, concentration, and academic performance of the students. Through this initiative, we aimed to contribute to the development of a healthier and more productive future generation.
