Feeding

Recognizing the fundamental importance of nutrition and healthcare, the foundation implements impactful programs to address these needs. The School Feeding Program ensures that children do not learn on empty stomachs, fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth. Additionally, regular healthcare services are provided, prioritizing the well-being of the community's children and safeguarding their health.

We are a group of selfless happy voluntary saddled with the responsibility of  taking vunerable and indigent children back to school. We believe that the field is green and there are lots of work to be done and so, we welcome all volunteer. The donations we get goes a long way in not only awarding scholarships but clothing and feeding these children.

Education for Every Child

Everytime genehen global care foundation embarks on back to school project, this is to ensure that every child goes back to school. In this back to school project genehen takes care of the children school fees, provides them with writing materials, school uniform and sandals.

Zero Hunger For School Children

As part of our contribution to ensure quality education, we provide meal (feeding program) for school children. This is to ensure that students do not learn on an empty stomach.

Child Right

We ensure that no child is neglected or violated. In the occasion of such, we ensure that the offender is brought to book using the appropriate authorities.

Back to school project at Community High School Amokwe Udi

GeneHen Global Foundation Visits Schools in Udi local government On Thursday, the 25th day of January, members of GeneHen Global Foundation led by the co-founder Barr. Chidinma Owkuowulu visited two schools in Udi local government to commemorate the The International day of education. The team visited community primary school and Community High School Amokwe. While addressing the students of the schools, Barr Chidinma encouraged them to be steadfast with their studies, obedient to their parents and teachers and abide in prayer as these are the key elements to securing a successful life and future. Also addressing the students were Miss. Faith-Victor Onyekwere and Mr Uchenna Ogbu. School materials were shared to the students of the two schools. Materials shared include GeneHen exercise books, pens, pencils, among other things. Teachers from both schools were very excited about our visit and expressed their thanks for the encouraging words and the materials the foundation brought.

GENEHEN FEEDING PROGRAM

GeneHen Global Care Foundation has extended its Feed a Child Campaign to Udi Local Government Area, focusing on tackling food insecurity among school children. The initiative is dedicated to delivering nutritious meals to enhance both the well-being and academic performance of students across eight schools in the locality. By addressing hunger and nutritional deficits, the campaign aims to create a positive impact on the students' educational experiences and overall health. PROJECT DETAILS: On the second day of the campaign, the foundation provided nutritious meals to students across eight schools within the Udi Local Government Area: Central School Amokwe: 138 children CPS Ibuzor Amokwe: 108 children South West Amokwe: 233 children National Primary School Amokwe: 203 children Primary School Idedu Amokwe: 120 children Union Primary School Orji Amokwe: 120 children CPS Umudim Amokwe: 132 children CPS Idedu Amokwe: 128 children TOTAL BENEFICIARIES: A total of 1,182 children benefited from the feeding project across these eight schools. OBJECTIVES ACHIEVED: The primary objective of the feeding project was to alleviate hunger among school children and improve their overall well-being. By providing nutritious meals, the project aimed to enhance the physical health, concentration, and academic performance of the students. Through this initiative, we aimed to contribute to the development of a healthier and more productive future generation. Impact and Outcomes: The feeding project had a significant impact on the participating schools and communities. It not only addressed immediate hunger needs but also fostered a positive learning environment. Teachers reported improved concentration levels among students, leading to better engagement in classroom activities. Additionally, parents expressed gratitude for the support provided, recognizing the positive effects on their children's health and academic performance. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, the feeding project in Udi Local Government Area was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the sponsors, staff of the foundation, volunteers, and community stakeholders. By nourishing the bodies and minds of school children, we have taken a step towards building a brighter future for the community. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that promote the well-being and development of children in underserved areas.
